2010 SHOT SHOW LSTs

In 1939 Joseph Gerber (advertising agency owner) had custom knife maker David Murphy make 24 sets of carving knife for some of his select customers. Catalog retailer Abercrombie & Fitch saw them and was so impressed with the quality of the knives they wanted to sell them. Thus was born Gerber Legendary Blades.

2010 SHOT SHOW LSTs

Post by MUD »

Finally ran across somebody willing to part with these.

Made and available only in 2010 and only at the SHOT SHOW.
G-10 handles and signed by Pete.

They're just a little heavier than the Zytel, and about the hardest ones to come by. Been looking for 6-7 years, nthis is the third digicam I've seen for sale and the first black.

There's on in orange too, hopefully I'll be able to post a picture of it sooner than later.

Yessir. Born and raised and still live about 15 minutes from there. Statham.

A whole lot has changed since I was a kid. Place has went from farms to subdivisions everywhere. But I reckon it was bound to happen.

Saturdays tween the hedges ain't tho. The G day game was Saturday, them boys look really, really good this year. Hopefully I'll see em win a few more national championships before I leave this place.

2010 SHOT SHOW

Orange G-10 LST
Signed by Pete Gerber

There was a pink one as well. Maybe one day I'll run across one.
I'm not aware of any others. If anyone knows anything I'd appreciate it if you could give me the information.

Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day.

Now it's back to work and 90+ heat.

I have two with the zytel handle that Pete Gerber signed at the Blade Show West about 10 years ago. No blade etch, just Pete's signature.
He was doing them for a fund raiser for some folks effected by a natural disaster, I just don't remember which one.

My first post here. I have been looking for information on this Gerber LST that I have. It is similar to the ones posted, but without the "Shot Show" etching and signature.

::welcome:: to AAPK, Langner! ::handshake::
I can't tell you anything about your knife, but be patient as someone more knowledgeable than me will eventually see your post and perhaps provide you with some information. 8)
