Schrade Cutlery Company was founded in 1904 by George Schrade, and his brothers Jacob and William Schrade. In 1946 Imperial Knife Associated Companies, (IKAC; an association of Ulster Knife Co and Imperial Knife Co) purchased controlling interest in Schrade Cut Co and changed the name to Schrade Walden Cutlery. In 1973 the name was changed to Schrade Cutlery. In 2004 Schrade closed due to bankruptcy.
This forum is dedicated to the knives that are the legacy of this company. This forum is not the place to discuss the replica knives currently being imported using the Schrade name.
Man what a haul ! Gorgeous old bones on gorgeous old Schrades
Chris i woke last night to the sound of thunder
how far off i sat and wondered
started humming a song from nineteen sixty two
aint it funny how the night moves
They are all beautiful! I have, say, 6 collectable. You see my avi is Swiss Army, but I take my 8ot or 34 ot for a walk occasionally. My Kamp King, Imperial 2 blade, other scout knife and obviously I should not carry my dad's WW2 Kbar! I would love to, maybe in the fall, try my Buck 110 or 112 .
Benchmade and Spyderco...meh...

Schrade Cut Co. EO Boy Scout knife. Pre peach seed. Chain probably replacement. Thanks to Mike
(galvanic 1882) for finding it for me!
Gorgeous Lloyd, what a looker. Hope you post in the EZO thread too. Fabulous bones and condition. Congrats on a coup.

The thing I really like about the latest Schrade Cut besides the pick bone is that it has a clip blade, don't seem to see those all that often, mainly see spears.
