Re: Imperial Mexico
Arriving recently, this pocket knife became the latest example to be added to this topic or thread and also to my "South Of The Border" collection. It's a CUCHILLERIA, IMPERIAL MEXICO, two blades, single tang stamp, pocket knife with bail. It measures 3 3/8" closed, not including the bail. The tang stamp reads "CUCHILLERIA - IMPERIAL - MEXICO" This knife "brand" is part of the Imperial and Colonial, Mexico story or connection. It is in VERY GOOD condition. It did need a little cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

Re: Imperial Mexico
That is a good looking knife Skip. Really like the handles with the shield. The brass or plated bail sets it all together. Nice find and another nice addition to your South of The Border group.New_Windsor_NY wrote: ↑Sat Apr 23, 2022 11:30 pm Arriving recently, this pocket knife became the latest example to be added to this topic or thread and also to my "South Of The Border" collection. Arriving very recently, this pocket knife became the latest example to be added to this topic or thread and also to my "South Of The Border" collection. It is an IMPERIAL, HECHO EN MEXICO (MADE IN MEXICO), two blades, one tool (a corkscrew), a single tang stamp, pocket knife. It measures 3 7/8" closed. I do believe that this pocket knife did have a bail at one time, it does not have a bail now. It does have a "Deer Head" on the handle. The main blade tang stamp reads "IMPERIAL - HECHO EN - MEXICO" This knife "brand" is part of the Imperial, Colonial and Mexico story, connection or relationship. It is in GOOD condition. It needed very little cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

Very cool find Skip. Plus as a bonus, it fits into two of your groups, The "South of The Border" family and also fits into "The Zoo"New_Windsor_NY wrote: ↑Sun Apr 24, 2022 10:00 pm Arriving very recently, this pocket knife became the latest example to be added to this topic or thread and also to my "South Of The Border" collection. Arriving very recently, this pocket knife became the latest example to be added to this topic or thread and also to my "South Of The Border" collection. It is another, my third, IMPERIAL MEXICO, single blade, single tang stamp, 1 1/2" closed (not including the bail), fob or key ring, pattern or style pocket knife. The other two of these have been previously posted under this topic or thread. The tang stamp reads "IMPERIAL - MEXICO" I had difficulty getting a good picture of the tang stamp. This knife "brand" is part of the Imperial, Colonial and Mexico story, connection or relationship. It is in EXCELLENT condition. It did NOT need any cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

Re: Imperial Mexico
This morning, my trip to the post office produced this pocket knife. It is now the latest addition to this topic or thread and to my "South Of The Border" collection. This pocket knife "brand" is part of the Imperial and Colonial, Mexico story or connection. But this specific "brand" of pocket knife does NOT make an appearance that often. It is a P.M. Atlas, two blades with a cap lifter or bottle opener, one tang stamp, 3 7/8" closed (not including the bail), horses on both of the handles, pocket knife. P.M. Atlas is stamped on the cap lifter or bottle opener part of the blade. This is my second P.M. Atlas pocket knife. My other P.M. Atlas was previously posted under this topic or thread. The following information regarding P.M. Atlas was provided by Jason, a.k.a. jxr1197 in a previous post, under this topic or thread, made on Saturday, May 30, 2020. "PM Atlas (Productos Metalicos Atlas - or Atlas Metal Products) was a business in Monterrey MX that bought knives either from the Associated Spring version of Imperial Mexico or from Cuchilleria Monterrey, maybe both." This pocket knife required a little cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is. The last two pictures (#9 & #10) are of my other P.M. Atlas pocket knife. The tang stamp on each pocket knife is different.

Very recently, my trip to the post office produced this pocket knife. It now becomes the latest example to join this topic or thread and to be added to my collection. It is a PASTOR ALEMAN, one blade (hawkbill), one tang stamp, 4 1/4" closed (not including the bail), 7 1/4" open (not including the bail), pruner pattern or style of pocket knife. The tang stamp says "PASTOR (over) ALEMAN" with the profile of a German Shepherd's head. This knife "brand" is part of the Imperial Mexico story or connection. Overall, it is in VERY GOOD condition. I cleaned the blade a little. I took some pictures and here it is.
