Hard to tell for sure from the poor picture, but it looks like the tang was ground or filed down to remove the original stamp and a fake Case stamp was applied by hand with a rotary (dremel) tool. ::td::

Clear, in-focus pictures of the rest of the knife would provide valuable evidence, but you provided no pictures of anything except a blurry picture of the stamp. From it I see no obvious evidence of a shaved tang.

I was thinking the fake stamp took out the scratches also.

I really don't see anything with the stamp that would make me think it is not correct. As Ken said , pictures of the whole knife are necessary to provide a mush better evaluation of whether the knife is authentic.
