Bowie knife problem!!!

Post by Alien883 »

After acquiring some vintage books about Bowie knives....I am now left with a serious problem!!
I think I fell in love with these huge blades...lol
Not being able to acquire high dollar antique Bowies and not willing to buy Pakistani junk....I just try to produce some on my own....using USA and English made blade blanks...wish me luck!

Looks like a fun project, and one you can be proud of when you’re done.

Looks good so far! Looking forward to seeing more.

My dad started to make a Bowie knife in the 70’s from a leaf spring. Its still hanging on a nail in the cellar, unfinished. Lol.

Looking great. Love the file work, the handle material, the fit and finish. Well done, that is a fine looking knife and looks great for home made. Congrats, maybe you can be a pro knife maker in your future life. ::tu:: ::tu::
