Actually that is the way the blade was made. Here is a close-up. Only one I have ever seen as well. The master blade ir proportionally shorter.

My goodness, from your first picture it sure appears broken, K7K, but from your close-up it certainly appears to be a sheepsfoot.
It's totally cool, I've never seen anything even similar.
