Model question please

Hoyt Buck produced the first Buck Knife in 1902. Hoyt and his son Al moved to San Diego and set up shop as H.H. Buck & Son in 1947. Al Buck revolutionized the knife industry in 1964 with the infamous Model 110 Folding Hunter. The company's innovative history and attention to quality have made for many great collectible knives.

Model question please

Post by AndrewH »

Could you learned gentlemen give me your opinions on this knife please. It looks like a 110, the sheath says 110 but the tang is stamped 560?
Thanks for your help.

560 was the titanium-handled version of the 110. I suspect Buck had some blades leftover, so they put them in ordinary 110s. I'd suggest emailing them, as they're pretty good at making sense of production oddities.

Thanks.
I don’t have the knife I was thinking about getting it. If a 560 blade is the same as an 110 I may do just because it’s different.
