Thank you Floyd, I think it is perfect also, unfortunatly this whittler with a shield will most likely never be made again unless Bill changes his mind on shielded stag.

Good looking piece. Have seen some crazy asking prices for those in white bone. Over a grand. Hope they don't get any takers. Insanity now.

On another note, these 86 single spears are going for much more reasonable numbers and I love the thin blade compared to my other 86 spears. Looks like a slicey blade for veggies.

Nice lighting and beautiful shot. Really like the micarta.

Little darker, but was lucky enough to get one of these from Gunstock Jacks and must say it's another flawless knife from Waynorth Charlie. Bravo Charlie, another winner, beautiful everything, love the fluted bolsters, the shield, the etch, the flush at all three positions, the seamless fit and finish and the cool stamps. Thanks again Charlie C and GSJ's.

I can't stand yellow delrin, but the Yellow Rose bone is beautiful.
It looks much better in person than this picture.

This one's special. First because the Giraffe bone and the colors, and the Hawthorne pattern. Could be Holy Grail for the Northwoods pattern material here. Hhmmmm, have to think about that. But also because it was from good buddy Q on the Volcano. He scored it and was kind enough to let me take it off his hands for a while. Fabulous knife. Love the bone. Might have to post it in a bone thread too. We'll see. Thanks Q, and thanks Derrick Bohn for the inspiration.

#340223 PPP. Really like the two blades with single springs. Very thin in the pocket, very wide handle for grip, wide blade for spreading, thin for slicing, sharp for poking. Another flawless GEC.

I love the handles on that one, Iman!
I was hoping that they were bone, but I just looked them up and discovered that are acrylic. That varied color and jigging pattern is certainly gorgeous!
