Incredibly sweet pick-ups, Jamie. I must admit to being a little envious! ::tu::

Randall Made knives are the gold standard in my opinion.
Unfortunately, they've become just a collectors item, I don't know that I've ever seen one that actually gets used.

You should have been up on Monkey Mountain in late 1965 when we cut the canvas tops of the hooch's and replaced it with corrugated. There were two guys in our hooch that had a Randall and they used them. StClair had a #1 & Kjentvet had an #18. Everyone else had to stop & sharpen the K-Bars or bayonets they were using but the Randalls just kept on slicing. At least that's the way I remember it.

Yes, Jamie, I am jealous of your number 7. My favorite Randall pattern. That 27 is a nice one, too! 8)

I would love to use them…but about the time I even think about it ..I think about it and then I just use my ESEE knifes much easier to justify using them.

I do every now and then get them out and cut air with them…lol I don’t think that will jeopardize the factory edge on them.

I picked this 5 in. Model 7 Randall online two years ago, its was made in the late 1940s. I doubt that it ever got out of someone's sox drawer. never sharpened.
I should get the staining cleaned up, might want to clean up a couple less valuable knives before this one.
