Not Playing With A Full Deck.....

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Very recently, my visit to the post office produced this pocket knife. It now becomes my latest "card" to be posted under this topic or thread and to be added to the "deck." It is a WESTERN, King Of Hearts, one blade, one tang stamp, 3 1/4" closed, lockback, pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says "WESTERN (over) U.S.A." This pocket knife came with an unopened, made in the U.S.A., poker size, deck of Western Knives playing cards. This pocket knife is in EXCELLENT condition. It did NOT need any cleaning at all. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

This pocket knife, along with a deck of playing cards, came in an original display package. I do NOT know if this particular pocket knife originally came with this particular display package. The display packaging measures 7" x 9" and has a slot for hanging. Overall, the display packaging, even with some creases, is still in GOOD+ condition. The pocket knife and the playing cards are in EXCELLENT condition. The pocket knife did NOT need any cleaning at all. I took some pictures and here it is.

I want to clarify something about my previous posts regarding the three pocket knives, two Queens and a Ten, that are on the three, original, store display cards. I was able to determine the tang stamp on each pocket knife very easily. I simply, but VERY carefully, removed each pocket knife from the display card and looked at the tang stamp. Out of the three pocket knives that were advertised, on the display card itself, as being the WESTERN brand, one was a WESTERN brand and two were the CAMILLUS brand. The three pocket knives were posted on Saturday, May 27, 2023. On Thursday, July 13, 2023 and on Tuesday, September 5, 2023.
Now, about this current post.....

The main blade front tang stamp says "WESTERN (over) U.S.A."
