Got me one of these beautiful very authentic 1800's looking blade blanks from knifekits.com....added Spanish notch, lots of file work, heavily modified guard and beautiful custom buttcap!!
Stag is Montana Elk!!!

Looks custom quality to me. I'd say A+, 10 out of 10 for effort and craftsmanship. Have you done any before? Looks like a pro did it. Beautiful antler. Bravoooooo. ::tu:: ::tu:: ::tu::

By the way, what are the two non matching cut out where the edge ends back at the step up to the unsharpened tang? Thanks.
