G'day from Australia
G'day from Australia
G'day all,
Thanks for having me.
Like all of you I love knives and in particular pocket knives.
My collection is quite small really, I got in to the hobby late and can't afford to buy too many these days.
My interest is in traditional pocket knives with carbon blades and natural handle materials. I have a few stainless blades but they just lack the character for me and artificial handles the soul. I'm a sucker for jet black ebony, good textured deer antler and some burls. Also have a softspot for boxwood, but finding anything covered in that is hard outside France.
Clip points and labmbsfoots are a particular favourite of mine, not that I have a good one of the latter.
Anyways, looking forward to reading through and perving on some knives.
cheers.

Welcome aboard!
I've always thought it so cool that this site enables us to meet up, make new friends, and talk knives (and so many other topics) with folks all over the world!
