Gerber MK2

In 1939 Joseph Gerber (advertising agency owner) had custom knife maker David Murphy make 24 sets of carving knife for some of his select customers. Catalog retailer Abercrombie & Fitch saw them and was so impressed with the quality of the knives they wanted to sell them. Thus was born Gerber Legendary Blades.

Checking ebay is the best way to figure prices, but from the ones I watch on there, if it has a sheath that’s not too off on price depending on condition.

Sounds way too high to me.... ::shrug:: But what do I know ::shrug::

I used to pay about $100 bucks for one about 7 years ago. ::paranoid:: and I used to pay about $1.69 a gallon for gas :| about 4 years ago! ::skeptic::
