My 110 Workhorse

Hoyt Buck produced the first Buck Knife in 1902. Hoyt and his son Al moved to San Diego and set up shop as H.H. Buck & Son in 1947. Al Buck revolutionized the knife industry in 1964 with the infamous Model 110 Folding Hunter. The company's innovative history and attention to quality have made for many great collectible knives.

My 110 Workhorse

Post by foxfirerodandgun »

Purchased this one in 1982 and it has been my workhorse ever since. It is on its third sheath and the need for a fourth one isn't too far down the road. I have a backup 110 that I purchased in 1988 and have not used.

Nice old knife you have there.
I'm sure you enjoy the history you have with it.

I have a 110 here that I've never carried.

I had one with at least that much use on it. One day I realized the lock didn’t even work anymore. I sent it to Buck for a new blade and they repaired the lock. I still carry it daily.
