Now we have a Colonial thread,Show'em

Colonial Knife was incorporated in 1926 by three brothers; Antonio, Domenic, & Fredrick Paolantonio. It grew to become one of the largest pocket knife manufacturers in the US during the 1960s. The company shut down in 1998, but was back into production under the Colonial Cutlery International Corporation in 2001. Colonial Cutlery International, Inc. brand is the imported line of knives and tools while the U.S.A.- made products fall under the Colonial Knife brand.

The following pocket knives have been included in the various groups or lots of pocket knives that I have purchased over the last few years. I do NOT purposely search for and buy these advertising pocket knives. However, they do end up being added to my general, pocket knife accumulation. There are ten pocket knives total, nine pocket knives have COLONIAL tang stamps and one pocket knife has an Ambassador tang stamp. Nine of the pocket knives measure 2 3/4" closed and one pocket knife measures 3" closed. ALL ten of the pocket knives have two blades and two springs. ALL ten pocket knives are in GOOD condition. I took a couple of pictures and here they are.

Recently was awarded "custody" of my dad's knives, first Colonial of his that I have come across. Only know this knife as the electricians knife because I had a similar one that came with a Jensen tool kit I used years ago. Tang stamp on it was Klein Tools.

That is a strange coincidence!
Regarding the blister packs, you're welcome. ::tu:: ::tu::
I don't know if you saw this one (1972) that I previously posted.

And now it is complete.

And now I'll have 1 full (gave the other complete one away) and 2 with no scales. Just going to have to get better at handle conversions I guess. Unless there's a pot full of colonial hobo scales at the end of the rainbow.

Not too recently, this advertising pocket knife arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I purchased. It now becomes my latest example to be posted under this topic or thread. This particular advertising pocket knife was NOT the reason for my purchase. However, it did turn out to be a keeper and it did end up being added to my general, advertising, pocket knife accumulation. It is a U.S.A., two blades, one tang stamp, 3 1/2" closed, two springs, tipped bolsters, advertising, pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "U.S.A." The main handle side says, "Ford" (written) and has the image of a Ford automobile. The main blade has a SOFT half stop, a SOFT opening snap and NO closing snap. The secondary blade also has a SOFT half stop, a SOFT opening snap and NO closing snap. Overall, this pocket knife is in EXCELLENT condition. Absolutely NO cleaning was required. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.
