Jigging pattern and shield?

The handle jigging don't look like old tested jigging and the shield is not of the tested era..open c and blocked s instead of tall s.

I question the jigging on the covers.

Very obviously shaved tang. So bad in fact it looks almost like a “new grind” blade. ::woot::
