Puma trademark stamps

Post by Wishalot »

Hello Members. In 1972 approx. my wife and I bought a Puma Bantam knife for my Father-in-Law which he carried and used until his passing in 2000. Since then, I was fortunate to have the family donate it back to me and throughout my travels it has had a resting place within my various new addresses and never used - Until now! It is now one of my main users -easy to carry, sharp, has the two blade system I appreciate, and it has history. My question is this. The decal or stamp - the typical mark of Puma is missing from the bone handle scale and I was wondering if someone out there has any idea if a replacement can be obtained. Note: When I figure out a way to include a photo, I will do so. This is a well used knife with a great patina and my intent is to pass it on someday.

I think what you’re looking for is a replacement shield. Finding one for a Puma may be a challenge. If it was mine I’d contact Puma. Most companies that attach their shields with glue will send a replacement for no charge.
