Had the pleasure of seeing Mr. Bonsall perform live with the Oak Ridge Boys several times. One of those times my wife was pregnant with our son. Our daughter, aged 5, wanted a little sister and wanted us to name the baby "Elvira". Yes, Mr. Bonsall was indeed "one of the great ones". Though it was probably a rerun, I saw The Oak Ridge Boys on "Opry Live" recently. Joe performed sitting down but was in good voice and never missed a note. He will be missed. R.I.P kind sir.
