Book by Levin and Another by Voyles

Post by Paladin »

Guys and Gals,
As part of a recent accumulation I have a pair of very good condition used books which I would like to pass on to someone here who can use them. For the pair, I'll send 'em both your way by media mail for the sum of $25, plus whatever it costs me to mail them to you.
The only thing wrong, if you want to call it that, is that the Levine book has a curled front cover. I tried to straighten it out by setting another book on it. That got no improvement so I will say it is likely permanent. Not a big deal but there you have it.
First come first served.

What a deal! I’d jump on it if I didn’t already have them. Highly recommend the Levine’s.

I agree, Ken, and I'm in the same boat, having one of Voyles editions and Levine's 2nd and 4th.

Can’t believe no one has jumped on this yet. Where are all those members who ask questions like “what makes a knife a stockman”, “what’s a barehead jack”, “how does a dogleg pattern differ from a serpentine pattern”, “how do I tell if my knife is a whittler”, “what is a Wharncliffe blade and why is it called that”? “When was xxxxx company in business?” “When was celluloid first used? “. And other similar questions which are answered in Levine’s book, along with just about everything else a collector might want to know. ::shrug::
