I was once really into the life of famous Texas gunfighter John Wesley Hardin and have gathered a pretty good group of books about his time. #1 the best biography written about him by Leon Metz. #2 a fascinating book about the man who arrested him Jack Duncan. (A lot of period history in this book as well. An amazing chapter about Doc Holiday) #3 also by Metz the life of John Selman, the man who shot Hardin. #4 the Life of George Scarborough the man who killed Selman. #5 a historical novel based on gleaning from folks who knew Hardin by BruceMcGinnis.
