Lone Wolf T1.
They were bought by Benchmade a while back, so their knives are gradually becoming collectors pieces.
Lone Wolf was started by people who worked for Gerber I think?
That's one fine looking knife, Yearnslow, a quality build that's worthy of providing comfort to the most uncomfortable person. It reminds me of my Paragon "Mamba" model.
Just before logging-in today, I was viewing Lone Wolf Paul Series "Defender" slip-joints, but unfortunately their prices as still astronomical. I bet those provide unending comfort to their owners! ::nod::

You certainly are in the spirit of this thread, Ike, both in your pictures and what you say. Because I never use my knives, I always have one or more nearby me to simply view or fondle since that brings me comfort. I LOVE rediscovering as you say certain models I'd forgotten I have, it brings back the memories of what it took to acquire it. Your post today has a particularly "warm" feeling, thank you. ::handshake::

Well, thanks for allowing me to join the Comfort Knives Club, even though I don't have a hat like yours. ::undecided::

Marco, "...worthy of providing comfort to the most uncomfortable person..." What a marketing gem that would be for many companies. Worthy of being licensed or copywrited and offered to mattress companies, pillowmakers, bed producers. ad infinitum. Some might provide the word capable rather than worthy. Either way it is a great phrase. ::handshake::

Why thank you, Garry and Tony, it popped into my head as I was typing and it sounded right, so I used it.
You guys or anyone else, please feel free to use that phrase in any of your businesses or private ventures as you see fit, and, you can also have any money it may generate, I'll just take the glory! lol! Of course, should you become successful beyond your dreams, I would hope you'll remember your humble author by setting him up so that money will never be an issue for him ever again, you know, a mill' or two discretely deposited in an off-shore Caribbean island bank. I'll wait here patiently for that miracle to happen. ::pray::

Good luck CxIII ::handshake:: I wanted one ever since I saw "The Road Warrior" as a kid and Mad Marco the hero of the story had a Gerber MK I in his boot. ::hmm:: ... I hope your aim is sure and your barrel is holding up better than mine is these days....

Everything about it, imo, makes it a comfort knife, and it will be close at hand in the upcoming days/weeks.
 Oooohh! 😳 That is nice!!! ::oh_my:: .... It hits all the right notes: Beautiful bones, NYK Co. nice and big, etc... etc... ::tu:: ::tu::

That gives me comfort, just looking at it 🥰

I also like those Gerber boot daggers but never actually bought one, and then outa the blue this wannabee was bombed to me. It'll never be a genuine MK I / II, but it's a suitable replica so I can have them represented in my accumulation. Mine has an unusual and unique feature, it has a flat-back with no evidence of a grind anywhere. I don't know if there is a reason for this, or if the maker was simply being cost wise, or even better, cheap. Feels small in my hand, but still effective. I like your real-deal, Dog!
Sorry you're felling like Elmer Fudd, better get over that quickly or you start to look like him! ::nod::

Great knife and a great Bomb you received Mark! ::tu:: The reason Lynn Thompson, in his words, designed the blade with one side being concave, not entirely flat, was for strength. Yours is the CT 2, which has a 3 3/8" blade. The one I recently posted, in a group, is the CT 1, which has a 5" blade. IMO these are very worthy replicas to the Gerber MK I/II. Cold Steel= 8)

Thanks, Kerry, that certain knife feels fairly small in my hand, but still enough for a solid grip, all the while enjoying that most unusual blade back.
BTW, how do I tell the MK-2 from the MK-1? ::shrug:: ::hmm:: Thx! ::handshake::

Much thanks, Tony, and also for the information. I completely agree those little daggers rank in with Gerber and / or Cold Steel products since they make them so well.
I can't recall if I told you my package finally arrived, but it did and so far I have the knives posted in "Mail Call" and will get to the other threads ASAP. Thanks for the cool gift, as well! ::handshake::
