Nice Charlie. I’ve been eyeing the new Halloween trapper I’ve seen on the Shepherd Hills website. Something about those appeals to me.

I took a couple of pictures today of some users. First is my Moki with barbwire jigged bone handles, my favorite.
Second is a Boker I had customized by Muskrat Man a few years back. Amboyna wood handles and stippling on the bolsters.

Both are very NICE Mark, but you know the Moki is my pick!

Two beautiful knives, Mark, but if I had to pick, Moki every time! I'm surprised you have any of those left, unlike the blue lapis models that flew off the shelf. One quick glance is all it takes to see the work put into those knives. I do recall member comments when you posted the blue lapis, everyone loved them and couldn't put their money down fast enough to get their copy, I guess the barbwire burnt orange didn't strike the same nerve. Oh well their loss, I got mine immediately! ::groove::

Thanks Mark. When you hold this barbwire jigged Moki in hand you can’t help but love it. For some reason it just doesn’t bother me as much to use this than the lapis blue ones. I think it’s the satin finish on the blade, it doesn’t show marks from use as easily. I enjoy using it a lot.

I guess I incorrectly thought the blue Moki was bone. Didn't realize it was lapis. I will treasure mine even more knowing that.
