Prayers for my family if you would

My household is getting hit pretty hard with respiratory illnesses this year. My wife has been ill for 3 weeks, missed 2 weeks of work. 2 of my three young boys have a similar seeming condition, and the littler one has cerebral palsy. He was born very premature and came home from the NICU on oxygen after 69 days. Respiratory illnesses for him are worrisome. For myself I'm on day 3 of having my chest feel like it's in a vice. Being that I'm stay at home dad, i really can't afford to be out of commission for weeks on end.

I went to urgent care. They told me to take Tylenol for my fever and gave me the boot. Im a T1 diabetic but I was the only one in the room to whom that seemed to be a concern. I don't typically seek doctor's help. In fact i don't even take OTC medications. I last took medication of any kind in 2015, other than insulin. So for me to go to urgent care was a big step.

We're all just wore out. I need help mustering the strength to get through this. If you could consider that weird knife guy (my name is Zach) and his family in your prayers I'd deeply appreciate it.

You fellas bring tears to my eyes. The prayers are beautiful, thank you so much for taking the time to read and respond to my cry for help.

Things got worse for me yesterday. As a diabetic on insulin therapy, I can always tell when I'm sick because my insulin is about 80% less effective and my blood sugar becomes difficult to manage. For 5 days it was much too high. High blood sugars make fighting infection much more difficult. Yesterday I noticed white bumps on my tongue: oral thrush. Means your body can't even fight off basic mouth bacteria. How can I then combat a vicious lung infection?

I'm not going to lie, I hid it from my family, but I was scared. Three times I was spurned by doctors. No modern medicine for me. Just home remedies and vitamin supplements.

I did all I know to do: continue asking the creator for the strength to make it through. To heal me quickly so that i could continue to serve my family. And I asked for help from you guys.

Today I woke up and had world War 3 in my chest cavity. But when the smoke cleared it felt literally as if I had expelled the demons along with the nastiest of nasty chest plegm. I feel 95% better.

My 3rd son is just starting to cough, but the other two seem to be getting better. We were able to obtain antibiotics for them. Keeping a close eye on the other one now, but for me the fear has passed, both for myself and my little guy. I felt bad for my oldest (5), but he's an absolute rock. His immune system is weapons grade.

Sometimes health and medicine topics can be contentious. If you'd like to know my specific earthly remedy pm me and I'll gladly share. But what's important to know is that no matter your chosen modality of healing, true healing can only come from the creator.

I hope you all get better soon! I can fully relate. I Myself have asthma and three weeks ago just had sinus & septum surgery Thats getting better I can breath through my nose again but I have bronchitis right now which is not great. I took Turmeric and it helped and is helping me now. I take it with tea and honey. I also use Cayenne pepper in every dish I make.

Thanks again to all who have posted here and thought of me and mine during their prayers.

My wife is still at about 85%. Getting by, but plagued by a cough that won't go away. My 2 that were sick are likewise pretty much better now, just occasional coughs. My third seems to be getting only a mild case of whatever we all had. He coughs but still runs around crazy making my day....fun?

For my part I lost 10 pounds. I have the infection in my mouth under control, but not gone, with probiotics and cider vinegar gargles about 3 to 48 times a day. I was bombed back to the stone age with kindness by our buddy Ripster yesterday. Perhaps it was just the inspiration I needed. All conventional knowledge would suggest that I should have faired the worst through this. Today I woke up not feeling 100%.

I felt 1000%. I had asked for strength. What I received was a great force of light, one that was exceedingly abundant, beyond what I could have asked for. I had sought to respark the flame in my chest. What I carry in me now is a raging athanor forging out strength I've not seen in a while. The weather warmed up to 34. I haven't been on a run in 6 months but today seemed perfect. I got winded pretty hard at first, but finished strong in one of my best times ever.

I'm ready to shoulder my burdens now. My family needs me still, and I'm more prepared now to serve than ever before I feel. The power of prayer is palpable.

Zach. Really good to read you felt moved and are rebounding. It’s funny how something like a few prayers ,a knife or 2 and good friends will help one out tremendously.
