Some Queen Robesons

The first Robeson knives were imported by Millard Robeson from England and Germany exclusively. This continued from 1979 until 1896 when Robeson began manufacturing knives in the United States. Since inception, the company has gone through several reorganizations & eventually ended up as a Queen Cutlery brand.

Rob that's one fine looking group of knives. That Congress fits in nicely too. ::tu::

Those are some beauties, c-man62! I myself have recently discovered a fondness for Red Carved Stag Bone (RCSB) which is the same as ACSB but dyed Red instead of Amber (although personally, I feel Crimson is a better descriptor than Red, JMO, YMMV). Just like ACSB, RCSB looks so much like genuine Stag that it can sometimes be difficult to tell it's actually bone, not antler.

This Robeson by Queen Slimline Trapper that I got from SharpShinyKnives AAPK store is only the second RCSB knife I've added to my collection, but I hope to add more in the future. I think the rich, deep crimson color is every bit as nice as the red bone on the older (pre 1980s) Case knives and even more lustrous. Queen did a masterful job on the MasterCraft RCSB series!

Glad you like it Q. I think these Queen Robeson’s are every bit as good as S&M, just different scales on them.

TBH, I actually like it more than I thought I would. I prefer the beefier blade on the S&M but I bought this one for the RCSB scales and was pleasantly surprised with the strong snap...did not expect that on a Slim Trapper with such a slender blade. Also, I like that it has no half stop. Most my folders have a half stop so I'm just used to it. But it's nice to be able to open and close the blade in one smooth motion for a change. Not saying one is better than the other, just fun to experience something different from what I'm used to.

I'm usually not a fan of green handles but in this case I will make an exception. That is a gorgeous knife 🔪.

Beautiful John. I’m a big fan of these Robeson by Queen knives. I think they are every bit as good as Schatt and Morgan. Here are a few of mine. I love the fiddleback whittler pattern. Green is my favorite color so I would be hard pressed to pick the favorite from the 3 whittlers shown in the second photo. The RCSB is such a looker and so is the Italian jigged blue bone, this pattern looks good no matter what is on the handles.
