Had to look that one up because I also had the name on the tip of my tongue but I couldn’t remember it either.Madmarco wrote: ↑Mon Sep 09, 2024 2:38 am That model is looking much like the AGR model "Desk" dagger I was trying to describe to you earlier, Mark, so much so that I'm starting to think the knife I mean isn't made by AGR but rather by Moki after-all.
The knife I meant has a specific name, it's not "Desk" dagger, that is quite catchy, but not catchy enough foe me to remember it. I'm almost certain you have all 3 in your collection of AGR's and have posted them here previously. Oh well, perhaps it will surface now that we talked about it behind it's back.
Your Moki collection just keeps getting better and better, congratulations, buddy.

Thanks Mark. It is similar to the Agents Office Knife. However, that Agents knife is made in China so Moki would not have had a hand in its design or build. I haven’t seen an Agents Office Knife made in Japan so I think those were made for A.G.R after he moved his production to China from Japan. I have one of those Agents knives in my collection and it does feel very similar in hand to these 900 and 901 patterns.Madmarco wrote: ↑Mon Sep 09, 2024 2:38 am That model is looking much like the AGR model "Desk" dagger I was trying to describe to you earlier, Mark, so much so that I'm starting to think the knife I mean isn't made by AGR but rather by Moki after-all.

Thanks Mark! I've seen you post all these knives at some point. I traded for the large Moki at a show, so I knew what I was getting, but was pleasantly surprised at the size and quality of the AG Russel Stag. Took me minute to figure out how to close the main blade though.Sharpnshinyknives wrote: ↑Sat Oct 26, 2024 10:51 am Kevin those are some of my favorites too. Very nice looking group of knives.
You're welcome and then some. What a nice pair, beautiful bone on both of those. Surprised how red it looks, thought it was much more brown when I saw it. Great bone.
That's a beautiful set of Moki's, Mark, I thought I had seen the model with the MOP covers in your store, and it's confirmed with this model today, just different covers. Very nice showing, buddy!Sharpnshinyknives wrote: ↑Mon Mar 03, 2025 8:39 pm Forgot to post this new Spire made by Moki for A.G. Russell. Matt Conable designed these for William Henry and it was licensed to A.G. Russell for these. I think I have one more to complete the set for the A.G. Russell made versions.
Thanks Mark. Not sure if I have had that one or not. Since I don’t have one in my collection, I doubt that I offered one for sale. I usually only sell any doubles or triples that I have when it comes to knives that I collect. Either way, the hunt goes on.Madmarco wrote: ↑Thu Mar 06, 2025 11:06 pmThat's a beautiful set of Moki's, Mark, I thought I had seen the model with the MOP covers in your store, and it's confirmed with this model today, just different covers. Is # 107191 in your store not the same knife as in your above picture of 4? If not, my apologies,Sharpnshinyknives wrote: ↑Fri Mar 07, 2025 1:17 amThanks Mark. Not sure if I have had that one or not. That is a completely different knife from the Spire. It’s a Loveless Semi-Skinner design. Made by Moki under specs from Loveless and A.G. Russell. It’s a less expensive version of one that Bob Loveless made and sold himself, less expensive compared to an actual Loveless made knife.Madmarco wrote: ↑Fri Mar 07, 2025 5:49 amIs # 107191 in your store not the same knife as in your above picture of 4?
