M5finn. Vs. 5finn

I have just began collecting vintage Case knives. Can someone please tell me the difference between the above referenced pattern numbers? Bradley Wood shows both in his photos in Sargents 7th edition but these old eyes are failing to show me the difference. Tom

The M5 Finn - M stands for miniature so it is a small one - 6" overall with a 3-1/4" blade. 5 Finn is larger 8-1/2" OAL and 4-3/8"blade.
