New guitar day. Check this one J.O.
Just picked this one up. It's a Peerless (South Korean made).
Mini Jumbo, spruce top, maple sides and back. Great sounding guitar. It wasn't made for North American distribution, which
is how they got away with the Gibson style headstock. It's a goodun'!

She's a beauty. Those mini's have a sound all their own with that punchy maple. Hank Snow had Gibson make him a custom mini in the 50's. I have a 1982, Guild Jumbo F-250 in rosewood. It's a great vocal accompaniment. I play it a lot when I work solo and want a big sound. I call it my piano. Good luck with it.

I’m a country rock blues man and love guitars. But few know I do. Heard my axe collection

Excellent collection, PA! Love the job you did on the Tele! Blackface Deluxe reverb hiding back there?
Here's my toy room, minus most of the guitars. I have a few of them too..

I didn't know who he was until about eight years ago. I met my wife about then and she was a big fan. He's her favorite and we have seen him four times.toomanyknives wrote: ↑Sun Mar 16, 2025 1:21 amGreat player, even better marketer. I've seen him live about 5 times, and he always gives it his all at a show.
We live near the Clay Center in Charleston West Virginia and he said it was his first venue touring. I don't know how many years ago that was, but both times he came back here were the best two shows he's put on of the four we've seen.

One of my favorites.
He was out in Atlantic City several years ago. Saw the advert on a billboard. My wife wanted to get me tickets, so she looked 'em up on line.
Nope. Didn't go. Too much $$ for me!
Take care and God bless,

He also has one of the largest vintage guitar collections around, Lyle. It's amazing!wlf wrote: ↑Sun Mar 16, 2025 2:15 amI didn't know who he was until about eight years ago. OK, J.O'. I know you'll like these. I have two 1970 Martin D35 S's here that I just fixed up for a friend. Both had pickguards that had curled up, so I installed new ones, but other than that, they are in fantastic condition, and sound killer. He's struggling with selling them, but hasn't decided yet. Amazing condition for 1970.Ridgegrass wrote: ↑Tue Jun 11, 2024 1:49 pm She's a beauty. Those mini's have a sound all their own with that punchy maple. Always liked those 12 fret S's. Never owned one. Don't see many. It remember Peter Yarrow and Paul Stookey had a couple on an old P,P,& M. album cover. Speaking of oddballs, have you ever seen a D-21? Slab-sawn Brazilian . I have a friend who plays one from the early 60's. Beautiful tone. Thanks for the pics. Stay tuned, I'll post a '64 Guild Mark III Classical I have for sale. J.O'.

I've never seen a D-21. I have a friend with a 00-21. Some of those old ones are amazing. I had a Guild MK3 Classical. Sold it to a buddy. It was a nice old guitar.Ridgegrass wrote: ↑Sun Apr 20, 2025 10:42 pm Always liked those 12 fret S's. Never owned one. Don't see many. Mine is perfect 64-65. Doesn't seem to be much interest in them. I have a jazz player friend who is interested. I told him $700. Nice Lifton (Lufton?) OHSC. I just have no chops for nylon Classicals. J.O'.
