Help with a (likely)Sheffield made knife - BUCK

Post by knifeaholic »

Mystery knife - I have no doubt (based on the design) that it was made in Sheffield.

Each blade is tang stamped BUCK over what looks like TOTMCTRO.

Anyone have any knowledge of this mark?

Goins lists this stamp as "BUCK TOTM CT RD prior to 1890 The firm was located on Tottenham Court Road" so the second part of the stamp is an abbreviated address.

Nice looking little pearl Steve.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.
