Another straight jack with caps and some self dyed and jigged bone. Another tough one with the bone wanting to cup the 0.030" liners. I'm going back to 0.040" liners once I used up what I have.
The bone was soaked in some paint stripper that has xylene in it. The goal of that is to eat out the insides of the bone to help get it to look translucent when it is dyed. That seemed to work on parts of the bone but not all, hence the splotchiness. I did not try and pressure or vacuum. Dye is Fiebings Pro oil

The jigging pattern is really nice, and I prefer the uneven dye. Had it been uniform, it would not look as unique and organic. I am a big fan!
