That wide band on your last post w/ pic is very classy as well . Really like the wide band. ! And was wondering about the pin pattern on the 4 line Camillus myself . Have not seen that before on smaller pocket knives .

Here's an old Keen Kutter gents whittler, shadow. 2 7/8" closed.
That band must have helped use up those smaller pieces pearl.

Very nice Keen Kutter !! Read somewhere that was the case with the bands . It makes sense in helping to use up smaller pieces.

That knife has a great shape, and the MOP has a lot of fire. Nice! I have always suspected that the band was so that the small pieces could be used, and that if a piece cracked when it was pinned then it was easier to replace.

Very recently, this pocket knife arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I purchased. It now becomes my most recent example to be posted under this topic or thread. I did NOT purchase the group or lot of pocket knives just to obtain this particular pocket knife. However, it most certainly did turn out to be a keeper. It did get added to my general, “foreign born”, pocket knife accumulation. It is a GERMANIA, two blades, two tang stamps, 2 1/2” closed, two long blade pulls, one spring, mother of pearl scales, ornate bolsters, pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "GERMANIA (over) CUT. WORKS (over) GERMANY" The secondary blade front tang stamp says, "GERMANIA (over) CUT. WORKS (over) GERMANY" The bolsters are decorated with grapevines. The main blade does have a CRISP half stop. The main blade does have a GOOD opening snap. The main blade does have a GOOD closing snap. The secondary blade does have a CRISP half stop. The secondary blade does have a GOOD opening snap. The secondary blade does have a VERY GOOD closing snap. This pocket knife is in EXCELLENT condition. This pocket knife did NOT need any cleaning at all. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.
