Remington Mother of Pearl Trapper

Post by agteacher2 »

I just got in an order of knives and just for grins ordered a Rough Rider MOP trapper when I opened the box I noticed the bolsters were different than the picture I ordered from. Next the blade was etched Remington and the tang stamp is the circle with the bullet, Remington collectors series. This confirms my suspicion the the Rough Rider Pearls are Remington seconds. Every other pearl RR has had "Natural Imperfections" but this remington is perfect. Anybody got another opinion on this.

I would say it was a shipping mistake.SMKW import both brands. The rough Riders I own have the RR tested sharp stamp.

I have always said that some of the knives that come out of China are good quality. "There quality control is there biggest problem. We as consumers never no what we are going to git. Some are very well made "in my opinion",butt you can buy too of the same knife and git a terrible quality in one and good quality in the other.
