Swiss Army Knives Collecter Forum

Post by tank »

I for one would enjoy a dedicated SAK section where we can discuss and share pics of our favorite little pocket size toolboxes. Anyone else agree?

I thought that's what "European And Other Foreign Manufactured Knives" was for. ::shrug:: Did I get that wrong?

With that theory you could dump all of the American or German made knives in one forum.

I suppose you're right of course. Don't get me wrong Tank. I'm not saying there shouldn't be a SAK forum, just that I thought the European forum was a cover all for those knives. ::shrug::

I wouldn't mind seeing a UTICA thread also.

As big a topic as they are, and as large a following as SAK's have, it makes sense to me.

Just a couple thoughts. Bryan was very willing to set up the Western board; I made a request, we discussed it a bit, and there it was. I did have to write up the explanation that you see on the index page. . . .

That will take some thought. Do you want a "Victorinox/Wenger" forum in the "Brand Specific" category, or some kind of "multi-bladed-all-in-one-toolkit" fourm in the "Special Interest" category? Either way, the forum name and description will be what guide folks to it (from within AAPK and from Google etc). It might be a good idea to sketch that out here in this thread, it looks like a lot of folks are paying attention to it.

Yes! I think brand specific is the ticket. Victorinox and Wegner.

Um, has anyone sent Bryan a note asking him to set it up, and offering to do the write-up?
