rare rooster stockman

I picked up this stockman today wondering if anyone has info on this one there's one in the book with a sheild and is 1 of 15 but can't find this exact one would no sheild make much of a diffrence?

Rehandled? Nice knife, Maybe was an extra parts knife? Whatever the case may be it is top notch. ::tu::

I know this post is a little dated. Did you ever find out anything about this knife? I just picked up one very similar with the shield. What book are you referring to in your original comment; I would like to get one.

Hello Treejakal;
This is probably the "Book" that is in question.
If you are a Fightn Rooster collector or need an excellent Rooster reference book, this is the one to have.
(And the only full detailed Rooster book I know of).
Still available online. Comes up online at eBay occasionally also for around $20.00 - $30.00
Excellent color pics and history. Well worth the money.

The book originally came with a very colorful "Dust Cover"
Perhaps my dog ate it ::shrug::
