We are undergoing some changes and upgrades here on AAPK, and there seems to be a few bugs that give some folks problems, depending on the system they are using.

Some devices seem to have problems.
Are you accessing AAPK by PC or some other device?

Bryan is working overtime to get the new software installed, up & running and tweaked for maximum performance for everyone. It will take some time.

Thanks,
Dale

just changed board style to sub silver 2, which I did not like in the old site , but if it keeps the site from jumping to board index every minute I will learn to like it, thanks Dale. I am using desk top pc , windows 7 premium os
when I get it working I have many new knives to show

Dale,
Just a suggestion here but it seems that there are several people having some issues including myself albeit minor, but wouldn't it be prudent for Bryan to put a message out basically stating what you just said. I was already aware that he was working on it but I keep seeing people asking the question and maybe if there was a way to put an overall message out to all members making them aware of the problem it would let everyone know it's being worked on. Just my two cents worth. I hope the show went well for you and sorry I wasn't able to make it, hopefully next year.
Regards,
Richard

I resize my photos , but they are larger in 'new' site, will resize them smaller I think
all so, the images in 'featured AAPK club member store items' are not showing, just icons for unfound or un connected image
but since I went to sub silver 2 the site is not jumping to the index board anymore, I can work with it now

The only problem I have been experiencing is that when I enter it takes a long time to load. Then whenever I skip to a different forum the same thing occurs. I thought it might be my computer(an old Windows XP that a friend updated) but it only does it on this site. Glad(in a way)that it isn't on my end.

Please don't feel like you're being critical. It helps immensely when folks bring problems to my attention. ::tu::

I've been working on some pretty significant changes to the site & I still have a lot of work to do to make things more efficient / less buggy & faster.

Things should continue to improve over time. ::super_happy::

Best Pocket knife Site on the interweb ::tu::
Question: Do you guys have wide black side bars leaving your page view very narrow? I thought this might be by design in an attempt to conserve bandwidth errr ummm or something like that but to me it seems like 2 black wastes of good pocketknife space. Is this a setting that can be changed or is this the new style? I am puter illiterate and can use all of the help I can get. Thanks

My screen is the same way, so, it probably is not a setting.

I have a 22"screen and it only has a 3/8" black line up the sides.
Try enlarging you zoom on the screen .Mine is 90%.

Yes but that's due to an increase in impedance once you cross the International Date Line and again when you cross the Equator. It's all relative.

Sure. As you cross each of those two lines of demarcation, the portistan frambilates a little more slowly.

That's a misconception perpetrated by the Australians when they invented the International Date Line (little known fact: The IDL is not real or official) so they could feel like they were first in something. The new day actually starts at zero which is the line of demarcation delineated by The Greenwich Line, located in Greenwich London England. So, y'all are actually behind us because the sun shines on us first. It's Tuesday morning in The Great Midwest and it's actually still Monday in Australia. Everything goes West young man.

I would have answered earlier but I was asleep on Tuesday night,
I thought the International Date Line was put out in the ocean because no one wanted it.They put it in the too hard basket .So the did what they normally do ,#THROW IT IN THE OCEAN AND HOPED NO ONE WILL NOTICE#

Hi Ken. When did this happen? I've received one other report of a similar problem. I thought I got everything fixed up. Maybe I overlooked something. It would be great to get a time frame on your incident to investigate further.

Thanks for the heads up ::tu::
