No CO2, but a CO4 Executive. I don't know the details, but the material of construction should be about the same as the CO1.

I have put a message into Bryan to see if we can get a Benchmade / Spyderco forum set up, I will let you guys know as soon as I hear.
In the short time I have collected the I have
Spyderco Caly 3 carbon fiber
Spyderco Resilience
Spyderco Persistence
Spyderco/Byrd Cara Cara
I have a Spyderco Native 5 back ordered
more on the way
The knife shown is a Byrd Cara Cara 2 and for around 30.00 you would be very hard pressed to find a equally good knife IMO
I am carrying this over my Caly 3 which costs 100.00 more!

Re: official SPYDERCO : Pick Ups , Pics , & Q&A thread
Here is one that has a lil name confusion ........
mine is considered a PRO VENATOR...... but had 3 names in all i guess...lol
PRO HUNTER,PRO VENATOR,PRO GRIP
this one was all about the inserts in scale and clip.....
C13 PRO VENATOR
This knife was initially called the Pro-Hunter/Venator when introduced in 1991. It is based on the C03 Hunter model and was altered to have Kraton rubber inserts for extra grip. The C33 Pro-Grip which was based on this knife was eventually renamed to the C13BK Pro-Grip. This knife was discontinued in 2005, but as with many Spydercos, may make a re-appearance in the form of a Sprint Run.
Blade Length: 2 3/4″
Closed Length: 3 7/8″
Overall Length: 6 5/8″
Weight: 4oz (SS), 1.9oz (FRN)
Blade Material: ATS-55/VG-10
Blade Finish: Satin
Blade Grind: Hollow Grind
Handle Material: Stainless Steel with Kraton Rubber/FRN
Locking Mechanism: Lock Back
Years Produced: 1991-2005
Manufacture Location: Seki-City, Japan
Variations:
C13PBK – Plain Edge, FRN, AUS-8
C13PSBK – Combo Edge, FRN, AUS-8/VG-10
C13P – Plain Edge, VG-10/ATS-55

Re: official SPYDERCO : Pick Ups , Pics , & Q&A thread
That last one you posted is one that I have.Mine had the Kraton insert in the clip fall out in less than a year of carrying.I was going to try and get a replacement but the clip works better without it.

simpleman may come along and know better , but right around there.....

I feel kinda funny chiming in with only an orange Delica to contribute to the thread.
I guess I could add my cousin's C35SBK 'Q' KONA from 1998. I've shown it before but it's cute and kind of unique. He said he picked it up while on vacation in Hawaii.

Do some people really consider this a grail knife? You'll have to excuse my ignorance. When it comes to Spydercos I'm more of a user than a collector. Though oddly the khukri is one I haven't used. I received it in a blind trade but never carried it since the design (while cool-looking) seemed a bit awkward to me.jmh58 wrote:SWEEETTT!!! Talk about a "GRAIL" knife!! That's it!!!
