A while back I ended up with this damaged hawbill pruner by KENT. I loved the wood from the get go.

About an hour ago I decided to well.......... ::paranoid:: tweak 'er a little...

Let me know whatchus think!

I like it Scott! Peanut butter spreader blade! Did you do that all by hand?

Well then that's even more impressive then! ::tu:: That blade kind of reminds me of an elephant toe blade, pretty cool. Must have take a whole heckuva lot of filing and grinding by hand to achieve that shape.

You would never know it used to be a hawk bill.
That jigged wood handle is still an oddity - never seen jigged wood before!

Thanks fellas. I used wire cutters to bust off the tip.....thenn a couple
Files and a sharpening stone to grind.

I call it a stub nose spear blade!

LOL....scored it at a garage sale and the guy said...."it just needs to be cleaned!" He didn't tell me he rolled it around in sawdust laiden with super glue .....wth ::facepalm::

Things were going along fine until I lost a screw ::facepalm::

Sent it to Kershaw yesterday.......
