Jeez, Josh. Ya gotta name 'em for those of us who are Spyderco ignorant. I too like the handles.

Bug do you like the pocket clip on that Manix2 ? I don't think I'd care for a clip that wasn't one solid piece of steel. Of course I'm one picky ::censored::

PHIL..... I LIKE IT, DON'T BUG ME ONE BIT. ::tu::

BUT!!! ........... I HAVE SEEN 2 (ONLINE FORUM PPL) THAT HAVE BENT FROM BEING CAUGHT ON SOMETHING AND IN THE MOTION OF SITTING DOWN(ALL YER BODY WEIGHT).......... ::undecided::
SO THAT COULD POSSIBLY HAPPEN....BUT COULD AND DOES HAPPEN WITH OTHER STYLES TOO. ::hmm::

IT SEEMS TO BE LIKED MORE, BY THE TYPE WHO PREFER , THE "LOW KEY, DEEP CARRY,OUT OF SIGHT OUT OF MIND" TYPES.... ::nod::

P.S. - ONLY THE LIGHTWEIGHT MANIX HAVE THE WIRE CLIP, G10= HOUR GLASS STYLE ::tu::

I like the wire clips too ... but not on every knife.

Spyderco seems to have it figured out pretty good though ...

I do generally put deep carry clips on those that don't come with 'em ... I like 'em ridin nice and deep and pretty much out of sight ...

Wake up, ye Spyderholics!

I managed to snag one of the much coveted and recently semi-released Paramilitary 2's in S110V ... and she is a beauty!

If you own a PM2 then you know the reason it's one of the all-time favorite Spyderco's - this is a great example, and very well done; if you don't yet own one ... well, you should ... seriously. And this is an excellent version to cut your teeth on ...

Hey JB, you telling me that Sage is the lowest replaceable unit…?

Got this one inbound … been curious, just never willing to spring for the ticket, but this was an offer I really couldn't refuse … already have a deep carry clip coming for it too (not a fan of the stock clip) …
(The "rough" look at top edge of the blade is due to me mucking around with background textures in Photoshop - not on the knife itself)
Verrry interested to see what this one is like in-hand …

Lowest Replaceable Unit is an Electronics Engineering thing - thought you might be an Elex type since you used circuit boards as a backdrop …

Anyhoo … yeah I'm excited about the Southard … thinking I'm gonna like it …

Paul, these days the device is the Lowest Replaceable Unit. It seems like nothing (in electronics) is made to be repaired.
