Here is an ODD Schrade

Schrade Cutlery Company was founded in 1904 by George Schrade, and his brothers Jacob and William Schrade. In 1946 Imperial Knife Associated Companies, (IKAC; an association of Ulster Knife Co and Imperial Knife Co) purchased controlling interest in Schrade Cut Co and changed the name to Schrade Walden Cutlery. In 1973 the name was changed to Schrade Cutlery. In 2004 Schrade closed due to bankruptcy.

This forum is dedicated to the knives that are the legacy of this company. This forum is not the place to discuss the replica knives currently being imported using the Schrade name.

Tom, that is one of the most outstanding Schrade collections I have ever seen, I am in awe!! I know just how much work is involved in setting something like that up, that's pure dedication right there. That Canal Street collection probably tops anything out there as well, just beautiful!

Say, what's with Barry's hammer? Looks like it was never used, did he do any work over there or did he leave all the grunt work to Harold? LOL!

That is damn impressive,Tom!

That "6 Schrade Ct." sign, that was hanging on that little out building outside the fence, right? I was joking with the guys about swiping it when we visited the grounds.

Anyway, thanks for sharing your history with us!

Eric......you must have known Barry....lol. Just kidding, however, Barry did leave a lot on Uncle Harold's shoulders as well as my Moms
Guess that's why his hammer isn't worn out...LoL

Glennbad

That was the sign, I got that little gem when Imalso got the large wooden sign for shipping, receiving and the office.

The Forman on the tear down told me to go for it as long as Imdi not enter the fenced area

Thanks guys for the compliments!
