Don't believe you can buy a "new" part for that knife, you may be able to find a parts knife (cracked handle, broken blade, etc.) and make one from two. Or a mechanic could make you a new one, I reckon. That might be more than you want to spend for that knife

Re: Lb7 spring bar help.
I see spring bars for sale on eBay all the time. Some one must have got a million of them in 2004. I believe they are the doubles though that started being used sometime in the late 80's early 90's and are more prone to breaking that the single originally used.
I believe Orvet an AAPK Admin started fixing these many years ago. Could be wrong though.

Re: Lb7 spring bar help.
I do repair broken locks brings but due to a backlog of orders and shoes I’m not doing it now. I normally have to make a new spring from spring steel stock, though I may have an old one laying around. Send me a PM and I will see if I can find one.
If you want someone to supply the pin and install it contact Muskrat Man (Kaleb), Glennbad (Glenn) or #goldpan (Randy). I believe either of those three could make a pin and replace it and I am sure there are others who could do it also, those were just the first three that came to my mind who I know have worked with Schrades.
Paul,
Is this a USA Schrade or an imported one?

Re: Lb7 spring bar help.
Zed, if he peers into the the butt end of the knife from the bottom, can he see any remaining spring? If so is it round? If there's nothing is there a slot that held it? If none of the above it's likely the one piece butt/spring piece. I think.

Re: Lb7 spring bar help.
That's not your typical LB7. It appears to me the knife has been heavily modified, perhaps to make it an auto opener.

Re: Lb7 spring bar help.
Hi Eric, the bar is missing so sounds like it's the version where it slides in
Phil that's interesting, what makes it look like it's been modded?
