Really like the "el Diablo " and "fur-fish-game" knives. How big are they?

Nice one, Roger.
I always liked the uniqueness of that blade pattern. I know nothing about skinning but it looks like it could do the job.

I'm not sure how I commented on your cotton sampler in a thread that didn't even have it pictured. But, I like it.

Re: Show off your Maher and Grosh knives
I was looking through a box of ivory handled knives and found a Maher & Grosh, 3 3/8" Equal End pen knife. Walk & talk is perfect, zero play, feels like a fine old Sheffield knife in hand. Do you know who the manufacturer likely was ? and how old this knife might be ?

Re: Show off your Maher and Grosh knives
Hmm, no replies on manufacturer of above ivory M&G. Still time to post !
Here is another M&G i just found in my own house, a 3 5/8" Sleeveboard Whittler with ebony handles, amazingly dark and dense. Blades look full to me. It is a lovely knife, solid & smooth as the day it got adopted (purchased).
So far i have not met a M&G knife that i didn't like.

Re: Show off your Maher and Grosh knives
Here is another M&G i just found, 3 7/8" 'Trapper Jack' is what i call it but might not be the correct name. Well used but still very attractive in part due to the large swage on both sides of clip blade.
I think this would be an excellent one to reproduce. What do you think ?
