A few of my Henckels....

J.A. Henckels is a Solingen, Germany based knife manufacturer that dates back to 1731. The company's Zwilling (twin) logo is known to be one of the oldest trademarks in the world. Throughout the company's history, it has made some of the world's finest pocket knives, kitchen knives, scissors & flatwear. In 1960 Henckels ceased their pocket knife production and started having other companies make knives for them on contract. Boker has been one of the main producers of more recent Henckels products.

Very nice, especially the last two at the bottom. They appear to be Stag. Look like well made, stout knives. ::nod::

Thanks Mike yes sir they are stag well they all are except two. I really appreciate your comments especially your questions when I have worked on something. Thank you very much. The two 190s and the 1780 I think are original Henckels made before 1960. The others I think were contacted out to Boker I believe. If I am wrong I am sure there will be a more knowledgeable Henckel collector come along and help us out with the correct information. ::tu::

Yes Ed, these two right here look like well built, no-nonsense knives. The kind a Mountain Man would carry in addition to a Fixed Blade. They have character written all over them. I can also see blue skies in the bolster reflection. Looks like you took those photos on a nice clear day. ::nod::

Luvin' the stag knives myself Ed.
I think you are correct about Boker making the Congress patters that you have. That is the same 3 step bolster that Boker uses, and I do recall a thread here discussing just that topic.

It's a great look, and a very nice carry knife. ::nod::
