Vintage Popeil Brothers Kitchen Knife-1964

Post by New_Windsor_NY »

Found this knife in a kitchen drawer. I forgot it existed. From 1964.
Never used. I am 99.99% sure that my parents got this at the Danbury
Fair in Connecticut. But what is C@@L about this knife is that it is from
the Popeil Brothers. C'mon, you know! The late night infomercials from
Ron Popeil. Pocket Fisherman, Spray-On-Hair, the "Set It And Forget It"
rotisserie thing and all the other gizmos they put out. ::tu::

Thats a great find, a guy never has enough sharp kitchen knives. Now about that spray on hair. Is this like what the road crews use? It must be a spray can with hair seeds in prolly a Aloe mix :)

Pocket fisherman is great for kids. I keep four of them in my trunk. I tell people all the time about the thermostat “set it and forget it”. Stop turning it up and down. The old people laugh. The young ones don’t get it. I never new Ron had a brother.
