Nice work John. You have two more to go. The pearl and the green worm groove. There were 7 variations with only 6 handle types ( 100 of each). Stag handles having two blade steels , distinguished by the shield on the ATS 34.

6 handle types:
Winterbottom bone
Fire Oak bone
Green worm groove bone
Mastodon ivory
Stag
Pearl

They were commissioned by Lynn Watkins ,an older gentleman with SMKW connections and patterned from the Schrade S7303 catalog cut in the Collector Knives books by Price and Zalesky. (not the Schrade catalog, but it is the same picture from the Schrade catalogs copied . I know that's confusing , but the information came from a Queen representative's post on AAPK in 2009 or 2010.

While I'm back in the saddle, here's one Dale was gracious enough to let me purchase. It's a first stamp Camillus Cutlery Co Camillus NY. Arched stamp on both blades. Still great snap and half stop (typical of most) on the budding blade.

Thats an old beauty Lyle ::tu:: ::tu:: ... Nice blades, great old ebony and an early stamp - I think 1902-1915 8) ... With patience one of these days I'll find one up my alley or even outside my alley (for example that Camillus trips my trigger ::nod:: )...

The very first post in this thread comes full circle:
"This is a nice old pattern that you won't run across very often."

EDITED 9:42pm
As far as known, Case never manufactured this pattern.
Sorry guys I can't let it go on any longer, I don't know how long I have before I can't edit it. A repairman suggested and wanted to make a Case for fun. I guess the call for a Tested pruning blade is uncommon. The frame is Walden, I think the rest is authentic Case, even the goldstone.I didn't ask about the spey. I hope I didn't offend anyone, thanks for going along my friends.

Hey...
I've looked at my other knives and it most resembles a Walden.

That’s interesting Lyle. There was a small company called Orange Knife Co, who made handles like that. I believe they were in Walden as well.

Lyle, thank you for sharing your Case Tested XX goldstone farmers jack. Its a beauty. I’m trying to work out what the pattern number might be. The pruning blade resembles the blade in the 013, but the frames don’t match. You may be on to something with the Walden comparison and there may not be a Case pattern number. Do you know if there is an associated Case pattern number?

Very nice Lyle! I've always liked goldstone handles. Congrats. ::tu::
A pocket knife is still an intimate personal possession of the individual who carries it and consequently deserves the best of materials, finish and workmanship in its production. (Quoted from Boker's 1928 cutlery catalog).

Christmas came early, thanks Dale for thinking of me. What I call a rooster comb, although as Charlie N said ,most people ( who'd seen them) called all this pattern rooster combs until Levine.

Actually it's a Schrade Cut Co S7303 with a bark looener blade as shown below.

Very nice Lyle... actually superb... ::tu:: 8) Great timing too...
There's a knife being offered on eBay but the blades have been so altered that it had me wondering if it actually started out as a farmers jack until I saw yours... while it's a Schrade Walden... it must be an early one as the handles & bolsters are just like yours... just too bad about the blades... and now I'm thinking he's asking too much for the shape the blades are in...

Actually the one I just posted does not have full blades either. Pruner blades ,like spear blades are very hard to judge as far as fullness.

Lyle, that Schrade from Dale is a great example, congratulations.

Was able to pick up the green bone Queen so NOW I only need the MOP to complete the set.
