That is super nice Joe. Knife is right in between the old world Sheffield style with new world practical style. Great piece.

Ebony Maher & Grosh, 3 5/8 inches closed. Not close to the quality Roger has been showing us, but unique, due to the lack of long pull on the master. Just a nice solid old knife.

Dimitri, I appreciate the comment. You and the other gentlemen have posted some amazing knives as of late and it is motivating me to get to the safe and see if I have anything worthy to add.
I did have this Shapleigh Hardware Co Diamond Edge handy and it fits the criteria. Unusual master in something other than a barlow pattern.

Your on a roll Joe. How do you keep those Holleys lookin so good. Do you use some sort of oil? I need to go through my collection and oil the joints. I have used linseed oil on ebony in the past but not on antique folders. I’m wondering what is the right thing on ebony and bone for my collection if at all?? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks John.
I never oil the joints on my knives before I take pictures of them and as a consequence I often forget to oil them at all.
If I am going to carry one I will always sharpen it. I sharpen with water on a stone so I have to get the knife dry and then I will oil the joints. Always willing to get a little oil on the new edge and blade. I use the smallest amount of mineral oil on the covers be they wood or bone. I use a pin drop oiler. I don't like a lot of anything on my knives. ........... or guns for that matter.

Thanks Joe. Every once in a while I’ll by one of the “Schrade Care Kits” that come up for Auction. Last one I grabbed for $20. I have a few of them. Not sure what oil they have in there or if there is something better.

I've never heard of a Schrade Care Kit.
3 in 1 oil seems to be pretty effective.
