I have this set, maybe a commemorative set of 2 trappers. Not sure of the age looking at tang stamps. I'm guessing it was purchased between the 1960's and not much later than 1980. I say this cause it seems to have mixed tang stamps. Yes I looked at the tang thread and got even more confused. So I throw it out there to those much more knowledgeable than I.
Thanks for looking and any info would be appreciated.

Re: Ka-Bar help
KA-BAR Collectors Club (KCC) knives made in 1983. Actually made by Queen not KA-BAR. DH 83 single blade 885 produced, DH 84 two blade 352 produced according to the old KCC 1976-1994 Reference Guide. The available KA-BAR tang stamp sheet has many errors in it and was compiled in the mid-late 1970s so it has no reference to all the club knives which will carry tang stamps from different earlier eras. Luckily many of the KCC knives have dates or serial numbers on them so they will not be confused with the originals made in Olean. These are well made knives and that is a beautiful set. By the way I see the serial number on your two blade one is 0391 which would be over the 352 stated in the guide. I do not know if the guide is wrong or if the number system did not start at one.
