The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. Thank you gentlemen, much appreciated. It is a well made knife and I have been enjoying carrying it. The axe is another fine american made product, Council in 5160.

Thanks Doglegg. The CS canittlers are getting pretty hard to find and the ones with stag are even harder. I scarfed this one used on flea-bay about two years ago.
