Ephemera

William H. Maher and Emil Grosh started the Maher & Grosh Wholesale Cutlery Co. in 1877 with a goal to sell high quality US manufactured cutlery globally. The original business dissolved in 1988, but the brand has since been resurrected.

One more for now.At one time Maher & Grosh had at least a few salesman. The G F Woodruff may have been a traveling drummer for Maher & Grosh. I've seen his stamp on a few cards. This one has prices written on it.I believe these agents were in the earlier era of the company.

Joe your catalog is from early 1900's likely 03-06 area. They stared in 1877,but didn't have a catalog every year. Some catalogs will be dated, and some will have a rubber stamp date in them.I have 1 of the little shaving booklets too.Nice group! ::tu::
