Whittled bear
This is a bear I've whittled, using the old pocketknife you see in the photo. It will be a gift for my sis, who loves bears. It's bigger than the size stuff I typically whittle. I'm finishing up a lady friend for him now also.. The pattern is from Mike Shipley's great book "Whittling the country bear & his friends".I've been strictly a pocket knife whittler since 1994, out of personal choice. I just really love the rustic "Grandpa whittling on the porch of his cabin up in them thar hills" feeling that old time pocket knife whittling evokes. Wish I knew who made the knife. It has NO markings, shield, etc on the body or blades. Such a great old knife! Happy whittling all.

That's an exceptional bear...especially with just a pocket knife!
Post a couple of photos of your knife, with the blades open and give closed length...someone will probably come up with a good guess on who made it. Welcome to AAPK!
