Oh by the way Lyle I picked up on your past tense of having “ used” to like Cattle knives - I bet deep down that fire still burns Lyle!

A pocket knife is still an intimate personal possession of the individual who carries it and consequently deserves the best of materials, finish and workmanship in its production. (Quoted from Boker's 1928 cutlery catalog).

I picked up another one of these. The bone is very dark on it, almost black, but there is a hint of red at the ends.

Re: Old Cattle Knives
This Knife tends to alwyas capture me because if it werent for Black Composite Jigged Hnadles- - as in if this had Jigged Bone or Stag- this would be simply an outstanding knife, the build quality is right up there- the Smaller detail like the Swage shaping and the Shape of the Spey etc- really make this knife- I love it!
ENDERES, somewhat of a Elusive Stamping - the Knife is in nice condition- someone long ago cleaned the Knife- but I would rather own this knife than not- Thats for sure!

Re: Old Cattle Knives
HIGH CARBON STEEL, U.S.A, Camillus top- notch Quality here used on these and as we know their Sta - Sharp examples- I absolutely love these Knives, the Bone on this is simply awesome- it's a lighter Variant than what we are used to seeing from Camillus- but this is nice stuff here!
Has a lovelt Coined Middle Liner, and although used- this extremely well built Knife has been looked after and obviously appreciated- The Walk and Talk on all of these Blades is superb with NO blade movement whatsoever
