W.H. Greaves & Sons Cleaver

Cleaver approx. 13 1/2 inches long stamped... W.H. Greaves & Sons No 0.... Nice heavy made blade beautiful wooden handle!....I've owned this cleaver for several years; all the information I've found is in (Levine's Third edition pg. 49) which states built Sheaf Works 1823-1826 Sheffield England Mfr. 1816-1850..Sold to B.J. Eyre in 1850... Thanks to zoogirl for information

Looks like a real beast. Old and impressive piece!
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.
